| I actually love that, Drafty. I've done very similar methods, just without the expensive breeding items lol. A Beauty mare, and a Beast stud ♡ was very successful on working color up through the lines that way |

| I will admit, I often used svens just to get some color into my ratings lines, back when RID were so limited. 0 shame in those colorful PEE x plain WWE svenned matches, back in ye old days of chestnut-only RID lol |

| You can say that again, Drafty, almost all of those sven fails I mentioned were repeats of successful matches haha But it might have also had to do with the fact that it was during a time when I really wasn't putting my all into breeding like I had been previously and had been having a huge streak of luck up until that point (#1 ABLB mare, top 10 ABLB stud, 1/1 WWW, and more), but I think I'm finally starting to build back up to that point! My biggest prospect even hit the ABLB this year! |

| I mean, svens aren't supposed to guarantee a good foal... They're supposed to push an already good foal to the edge. So they're intended for matches you're confident in anyways |

| Either way, not complaining. It was a bummer about those matches but I'm really excited Eve made the change, it I feel a lot more motivated to plan and care about matches after my top 3, come June 1st |
