Keo Lol well I learned how to not bounce around xD That was the same horse who kicked me in the ribs and it got really bruised and the one is still caved in so it might have been broken at one point lol it hurt like crazy >.> I didn't tell my parents though, they assumed I was crying because of school xD
But eventually that saddle got put on a big horse and it was my dads and my aunts saddle when they were kids so it was old as hell, and the horse got spooked and something on it broke that is either impossible to repair or realllly expensive to repair. I went two years without a saddle after that
Thats the best and the worst way to learn because you end up picking up some funny habits hahah but also gets your butt stiiiiicky lol. I started off on that pony on a saddle, but I was too short and the saddle was to heavy to get it up on my own and then once I could get it up there I remember killing my fingers with my own nails trying to cinch it up X.X (I did a lot of riding by myself without permission as a kid XD)

Keo Lol I wish I could show! I don't have my own horse sadly otherwise I would! I love going fast on horses, fun fact, my neighbors used to have a horse they let me ride everyday, and I rode her bareback, and she taught me how to actually sit a trot/canter/gallop and how to jump bareback xD
I didnt get to show much either... I dont even remember how I got into that show tbh but I remember having a blast and wanting to go faster XD
I grew up doing a lot more trail riding and stuff.. Did one year of 4h when I was 8/9 and still have back issues from the fall I took at the end of the season show there lol... had that pony for another 8 years and we just terrorized the place bareback
Keo Lol I didn't show at all, I wish I could/did, but it was only in the past 3 years when we moved out to country and I joined a ranch program I learned to ride, but now I can do a little bit of everything and jump and stuff <3 I found more pretty, but random photos as well that are from about 30min from my house currently *-*
the hair you ended up finishing pulling out looks good. the horses lighting doesnt quite match the shadow its already in and if you kinda "sink the hooves" into the snow it would look a lot more realistic
