| Revel I was more of a suburban/city kid growing up (at least on my mom's side) so they were completely confused where I got my love for animals/pursing vet med. They always say "Well I got someone's gotta do it." Like? It's not a chore for me. I want to do it. I enjoy what I'm pursuing. But you have to be solid in what you do and do it proudly. |

| Ignore their thoughts. And if they push, remind them that different things make different people happy. Happiness is a VERY important factor of life and if they can't deal with yours, that's not your problem. |

| I just feel like my family's mentality is life is sucky and if you want to use some of your money on something you enjoy, you are better off putting it into savings for retirement. They are just miserable and want everyone else to be miserable like them. |
