Dark, fast answer are just not always bad to be honest, personnally i hate making people wait, unfortunately i end up by being always the person who waits hours i don't mind when it's someone i don't really talk to but when it starts to be someone really close or you have a lot affection for it's a bit meh :/
Especially when people who grew up on sites with an algorithm try to navigate around sites that don't. I read a lot on AO3 and I've noticed a huge influx of younger folks breaking the ToS because they're so used to the Wattpad algorithm that they don't understand a site where they have to curate their own content until they get warned/suspended for it
been through this many times don't waste your time chasing people just live your life and good people like bad people will show up in your life you will lose the bad one but keep the good ones and that is the best that can happen i guess
Agreed Storm. As someone who uses social media pretty often, I have noticed it's a lot more prevalent on apps like TikTok and Twitter where there's a very low character count in comments/posts. Fosters a community where very quick answers are prioritized over detailed conversations and it breeds ignorance and hate
Exactly. I will always want to make a new friend, but will not stick around if they show me any disrespect or reasons I don't need to be around them. Toxic people are way too prevalent
Meh, my friends in high school all stopped talking to me and I realized they were all various flavours of asshole after that so it didn't really matter. I made new friends and they've lasted me long after graduation. If your friend group falls apart chances are it's a friend problem
I lost count of how many fake people I've talked to. Once you know what kind of people you want to be around and what kind of person you are, it makes things a lot easier.
