Pony club for a year?? Nah we do it for the summer like July/August 2-300 euro and either your own pony for 100 euro to lease one pony to do everything
I pay 200 a month to half lease Lexi + 1/2 of all her vet and farrier fees I then pay 80 for transport and coaching at the show + show entry fees. This next show is the fair and their entries are free, so just 80 at the next.
In high school my eventing instructor wouldn't let me do pony club cause I also ran track and cross country and she didn't like to "share". But was totally fine with me helping out with the kids for 90% of their pony club meetings and camp.
I coughed up an obscene amount of money to participate in PC last year. We had two meetings all year. I was promised 1/month plus additional lessons included in the price of membership. Never saw any of that. I'm still bitter. I LOVE the goal of PC and the organization as a whole- but this new club with maybe 7 members just wasn't it.
Shop used if you can. I sold a few really nice show jackets (retail $300-$600 new) through a friend's company and they sold for about $100 each. But I need a new pair of boots and I'm not looking forward to that.
And they do not really ask for any kind of test either, unfortunately. Went to a couple youth shows this year and competed at one (soon to be two) that had youth at it. Fun time, corralling kids on horses
Pony Club is not super well known here. I know up north it is, but here it is not. The breed associations do youth shows and that is where the kiddos mostly compete. So pony club is pretty obsolete
But ye don't do like pony clubs though do ye? Many kids do pony club here from the age of like 7 up to about 15/16 ish Hence not many do the E test as that's for like 4 year olds
We have like one instructor who has only done small shows and she is just letting kids do whatever they want during lessons and making little progress with them 🙃 So my barn owner tightened the restrictions for new instructors.
There is no test here, anyone can be an instructor here and get paid for it. That being said, my barn will not hire anyone who has not done well at bigger shows since they focus on showing. Then you need your Safe Sport thingy.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

You can hire a rider. They will be automatically assigned to your horse. Be sure to visit the Rider's Lounge and pay them.
Set Breeding Requirements for your horse. Enter the minimum rating allowable for breeding. When breeding, Any combo of the entered values and higher will be accepted. Leave blank to set to None.
Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
