i like hearing different techniques for showing for a profit! :3 i've just been learning from guides on the forums and watching what other people do, it's nice to hear people explain their thinking behind it too.
most people make their gelding army out of horses with 1 E rating in a discipline, then train them in that discipline and enter them in shows when appropriate.
Speaking of geldings, I am going to get some across some of my accounts. What am I best looking for when buying them? I want some that are sort of ready to show
That's fair. I guess my personal preference would just be for it to be added to the preexisting premium to keep things simple, if that's the way it goes. But chances are, cap will stay as it is anywho
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

You can hire a rider. They will be automatically assigned to your horse. Be sure to visit the Rider's Lounge and pay them.
Set Breeding Requirements for your horse. Enter the minimum rating allowable for breeding. When breeding, Any combo of the entered values and higher will be accepted. Leave blank to set to None.
Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.

A rider must be assigned to your horse before you can enter shows!
If you would like to put your horse on the market for breeding, click below. Note that when your horse is up for breeding, anyone may breed to them. Also note that you don't need to enter a price when marking a stallion available for straws.

Enter the sale price for your horse. Please be aware that if you put a horse up for public

Geld your stallion. Geldings train up much faster than stallions.
If you no longer wish to own this horse, you may set them free to fend for themselves. The Karma Fairy will pay you 1000 for your adult horse, up to 100 horses per month. 100 to go! The Karma Fairy will pay you 200 Credits for all of your adult horses. The Karma Fairy will pay you zero for your yearling. This action is not reversible so be sure before you click Submit !

Join A Federation. Your horse will accrue Federation Points
and based on that may make the Federation Championships.
It costs 500 to enter a Federation and membership lasts
