Rainy what I usually do is if they walk up to me I act like they aren't there after a couple seconds I walk over to my friend group and start a conversation that usually breaks their attempts to talk to me
I find ignoring/walking away from people works pretty well. Start conversations with others when they try to start one with you. Just sort of shut down their attempts for contect
See I started buying geldings now they just sit T-T made a whole barn for them too I'm sure you will get another ABLB horse though what has happened before will happen again!! :D

Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
