I keep a blanket in front of my front door, one of those weighted draft stoppers at the base, and then I've put some stick on draft guards along the edges of the door. Helps keep the cold/heat out
Blackout curtains that are *thermal* is what I plan on getting soon. Our windows frost inside and out, itÂ’s horrible during the winter. But during the summer? 3 fans, and a blanket over the window will suffice. 😅

Honestly, having thick curtains can help immensely. I put styrofoam blocks in the windows to help block out the sunlight since my windows face east/west and that significantly helps with the temps
Yes!! I hang thick blankets over the windows and doors through the hottest months of the year, and then the coldest days of the year (since Texas windows really dont have anything winter proof) and it helps massively.
Without an AC my house stays at a nice 70-80 degrees until about 8pm, then it gets really hot. But it's cool because I can just leave windows and doors open at night and by morning it will be all cold again.
