Ah the heat. My animals donÂ’t have AC (well some of the dogs do when they come into the house) so if they can be in the heat, then I can be in the heat.

Rain Nono, so a large part of India is vegetarian and weÂ’ve been that way for a very long time so we grow up with a lot of lentil , plant, and veggie based foods which have all the necessary nutrients^^ Many parts of India were never really big on meat (altho there are parts that are too of ) but my mom is from a mainly vegetarian part so I grew up that way too!

I definitely agree that plants raised with chemicals are worse for you but IÂ’m saying if healthy fresh vegetables and plants are accessible to you and you donÂ’t need nutrients from meat, plants are there :p

Exactly Buckeye, it's one of these truly opinion and feelings kind of things where neither side is wrong because both sides have issues and good points in the world we have today. Now back to pets having their needed nutrients, I need to get more duck feet for the dogs today, but I don't want to go outside in this heat lol

There is much bad info out there concerning red meat. (And other meats) There are other newer studies saying, oops, we were wrong, the red meat is not as bad as others have told you.

Can go back and forth all day on both sides. I think the main point was to not diss people who have pets requiring meat to survive, and also not to diss humans who require or even choose meat to be healthy. It takes all kinds in this world 😊

There are many plant based foods I cannot eat due to digestive issues, including most that are *recommended* as replacement for meat. Many I can. Healthy balance of all food groups is essential.
*replacement* is never as effective as the real thing.
