My primary care doctor is amazing. She's awesome and really listens. But yeah. My orthopedic doctor told me "there is no surgery option". We don't even know what the problem is!!
It sucks. My orthopedic doctor isn't taking me seriously at all. She keeps tossing physical therapy at me and hoping it works when it feels like it's making it worse.
Munn, Nothing. I've been in pain for 2 (almost 3) years and it's getting worse as time goes by.
It sucks when health professionals don't take you seriously though. Been there at 13 when I tried to convince my family doc that what she was treating as 'tummy ache' was actually my appendix acting up. After 2 weeks she finally gave in and had me admitted to the hospital for further checkup - I got scheduled for surgery the following day!
So! I've been in a lot of pain with my hip and knee. I've been trying to get Naproxen to help with it. It took a lot of pestering and nurses not understanding, but my doctor finally stepped in and agreed!
