We have very large windows in our apartment and they are single pane so they have no insulating properties. Also we are in direct sunlight the entire time the sun is up, so It gets hot in here if we don't keep the AC on

I keep a blanket in front of my front door, one of those weighted draft stoppers at the base, and then I've put some stick on draft guards along the edges of the door. Helps keep the cold/heat out
Blackout curtains that are *thermal* is what I plan on getting soon. Our windows frost inside and out, itÂ’s horrible during the winter. But during the summer? 3 fans, and a blanket over the window will suffice. 😅

Honestly, having thick curtains can help immensely. I put styrofoam blocks in the windows to help block out the sunlight since my windows face east/west and that significantly helps with the temps
