Stashing money sounds like a good idea and I still haven't told my parents I'm terrified they are going to get too involved and make it hard/ uncomfortable if he comes around with them knowing the situation. I still to this day struggle with relationship and trust because of that situation, and seeing him loyal to another when he wasnt to me, and seeing the rock on her finger and being constantly reminded of him and their relationship (by ppl we both know) sucks- but I am stronger and happier because I decided to leave.
