Old nuc med tech here. CT, US and the other stuff only looks at anatomy. Do you have stones? Infection? HIDA looks at function. Does your gallbladder empty properly or just spasm when it should empty? There is a condition called strawberry gallbladder where the stones form in the wall and make the GB stiff.
maybe nutritional consult if possible? I think it would be worth it to go back again for another scan, but i feel you though constant tests and scans without answers can be exhausting
Lilly I had lots of tests done and they didnt find out I needed surgery til they did a heitoscan (pretty sure I butchered that). I was in an out of the dr for probably about a year before they found out 😬😬
But if they already took a CT scan and an ultrasound of my appendix and my gull bladder. Is there much point in going in for another scan a week or so later?
I'm trying to get into my family doctor because I really like her. But she books up fast. My daughter has her 18 month check up with her in a few weeks so I think I will just piggy back off of it. The hospital has a waste of time and I don't really want to go back
I went from someone who is pretty healthy with no issues so getting sick after every time I eat. And so far the walk in clinic and the ER told me it's "just a stomach bug" and sent me home. But this is awful
