Void That's definitely true. They've sure got a "different" way of doing things. They are very much "factory" minded, I'd say, when it comes to animals. They're here to serve. Work it until it's too old to do any more. It's here to work, etc. etc. I don't think what we see as "abuse" is abuse to them, just in a day's work. Not fun for the horses, that's for sure.
White Run, Oh yeah I have definitely seen the state of Amish horses. Though I wouldn't use it as a gauge for an Amish person's reliability. It's not in their culture to treat working and/or livestock animals like friends.
The Amish around my area are very helpful and kind, however, I know of a few that are not..regardless, a couple bad apples don't make the whole bunch rotten in my opinion.

Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
