i literally walk around with a measuring tape in my handbag since being here so when im shopping - someone says 3 inches, i will take out my tape and look at it to have an idea, most find it amusing
*cough* Hands started in England. An average mans hand was 4 inches wide at the time. Fun fact, my hands are 4 inches wide. LMAO As a woman born in the 20th century, I have the same size hand as average men hundreds of years ago.
Electricity is finally back It was cut off this morning without warning to areas that "didn't need it much" so they could repair something
We didn't need electricity?? It's not like absolutely everything on this yard is powered electricity so we had no running water all day for the horses in 17 C heat with no clouds 🙄 Electric gates wouldn't open the shed doors wouldn't open so we had to like man handle the doors to open them up eventually to get the horses out of their stables It's been a nightmare
