Yup. I mean she bit someone but that's nothing compared to what could've happened. Also a shame for the other kids who had to miss time riding because of the commotion.
Oh I agree Sandy. If it were up to me I would have not allowed them on the property ever again. I'm glad I left that barn. Looking back it wasn't run very well and the horses were also overworked.
Dulcie, I don't know. I do think the instructor was trying to be nice and give her a second chance. I mean she behaved pretty well for the rest of the week. Not a single complaint anywhere. But it was probably because her dad was there the whole time.
I don't mean it ugly, but if she had gotten hurt on the road (thank the stars she didn't) that could have been a huge problem for the barn. It would've been better to not allow her back.
@Wander, I agree. She needs a stern lesson in how that could have seriously hurt her or others and that isn't acceptable behavior.
Yeah, even then it could have ended pretty bad. She was literally sitting in the middle of the road. She could have easily been hit if a driver wasn't paying attention.
Yeah, I think it depends on the kid, or if there is someone qualified to be working with a kid with special needs and horses. At this barn there was not though. It was just your average lesson barn. I don't think she had any mental issues though, she was just bratty. It wasn't the first time the police was called on her too apparently 😳
dip i think there should genuinely be an age minimum to be around horses. or at least mental maturity/ parents who have worked with horses. children are less domesticated than the horses
