It's true. As a groomer, some pets do better with strangers than their owners. Owners are more likely to cause fear because it's their baby and their nervous. My one dog knows that she can get her way with mom on the grooming table but with anyone else she's an angel
@Min, maybe, but when they groomed him in the past they said he was great and that having someone else be the mean person can actually help them react calmer.
Revel if he freaks out would it not be better for him to at least be in a familiar environment with people he knows rather than a strange place with randos?
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
