I'm not sure what it was then to be honest. Maybe a a very dark Chestnut or sooty form but i don't think he looked that way I'm hoping I didn't free him so I can figure this out
No it can't come from the grandparents since red genes are already recessive. They had to wade through all the dominant bay crap to be palomino in the first place, so they cannot produce a bay if not bred to a horse with at least one dark gene
Buckskin is my least favourite colour in this game. They look like black horses caked in dirt, the golden and the new variants are pretty, but the fact that they often look so light but then are still genetically EE when I'm trying for chestnut/apricot is also just messing with my brain. They are either deceitful or ugly or both!
