As more players figure out what “ready to show” means, the competition has gotten stiffer, for sure. Also, the premium and free accounts being separated for shows made it harder in the placings.
For those reasons, I stopped using the barn manager to enter shows long ago. I think the barn manager is not the biggest problem with showing, currently. Probably an unpopular opinion, but based on having been showing in game for a very long time, and having been one of the top stables in showing.

I didn't notice a huge difference with the BM when I did my own test, but she had double the data because hand showing takes me forever. Her having double the entry count and still having about the same earnings per show is... not a good sign for her employment at my stable LOL
Yeah, BM has usually been hitting the bottle when she enters shows. I did a multi month long test of which was better: hand entering or the BM. While the overall winnings were the same, the over all profit was lower with the BM and the average placing was lower, too
After reading some of the comments in that poll, especially FSF and Versa, I'm starting to realize that my my showing problems might not be just in my head. Which is comforting
Yeah my show placements were abysmal last night. Especially on my side account. I entered a bunch of horses who should be at the top of their level and none placed better than 5th
Agreed Hummer. I checked my BM last night when shows ran and she... Didn't do well. I'd say half the dressage geldings she entered who hypothetically should have been ready (2 bars at double their level) placed 10th or worse. I'm at the point where I'm going to stop using her or only use her for one discipline so I can manually enter the rest, however time consuming that may be.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.

A rider must be assigned to your horse before you can enter shows!
