I will say the one part I am confused about is my mom. She was the one who returned the cat in the first place after doing a trial on him. I have been nagging her a bit about it and she finally said if I get permission, it is OK, But part of me doesnÂ’t want her to resent me.

I mean if you already have a dog just get the cat. Better to ask forgiveness than permission, and if they're okay with a dog they shouldn't care about a cat anyways
