Once when I was looking for a new lesson place I went to a barn where they put me on a 17.2 gelding, and I realized that I do, indeed, have a limit on how tall of a horse I will ride. It is much under 17.2

@Trigger, that's fair. When I was horse shopping I remember how hard it was traveling though since most of the horses I was interested in were out of state. So travel was an additional cost.
We have been to a few horse trials but none have stroked my fancy, they were priced between 5k-10k. I am just being very picky. Once I buy that horse is stuck with me forever, so wanna make sure all the boxes, or at least most of the boxes, are checked

My stepdad was looking for a horse for my mom since hers died last year, and he found a 6yo 16hh mare, fully trained, for 800$. Said the owner died and the mare was left with a friend, and they just want her to go to a good home. Possible third horse for us? xD
Since I am taller I weigh more. I used to lease a 15h mustang and I always felt kind of bad riding him because I think I was too big for him. I'm not really overweight, but still.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
