That makes sense, Top. My trainer's sponsored by devacoux so we get a lot of their saddles, and it definitely just depends on the rep. CWD's reps barely get any training, which is part of the problem, but if you get somebody that is knowledgeable then you'll be in better hands.
though i will say for the price tag i don't think i would recommend cwds to most people, you can get excellent saddles for a fraction of the cost. i have a pessoa as well that i loved, but it was re-fitted to my mare who had a weird back and couldn't be used on most horses
im planning on selling it though and buying a nice western one though because english is not my jam and my current western saddle doesn't fit my horse anymore lol but its super nice so im just gonna keep it and i bet eventually ill get a horse that does fit it
i mean i used to work full time in the h/j world and two of the barns i worked for were cwd sponsored, meaning all clients got custom cwds. never heard any complaints from clients about fit for either them or their horses. maybe we were lucky and had a better rep than most? mine is fit to me but a general "warmblood" tree since i used it for catch riding. i might be an outlier but i do prefer bulkier saddles because they're easier on my bad hips.
I have a stubben its comfy, I havent ridden in any other brand so I dont know what cwd is like but im living for the fact that someone was so offended by cwd that they made a made a hate account about them, as a fellow hater I support
bro I cant get this song out of my head lol https://www.google.com/search?q=i+don%27t+wanna+go+to+school+i+just+wanna+break+the+rules+lyrics&sca_esv=dc1b946dcae22bbc&rlz=1CAVNCX_enUS1088US1088&sxsrf=ADLYWIL-2gO3yfhf2V5POEaVln6fk30W_A%3A1715280975955&ei=Txw9ZtnIOYiAkvQPsPCi0Ac&gs_ssp=eJzj4tVP1zc0TDJLzrI0Tc8yYPSyy1RIyc9TL1EoT8zLS1RIz1coyVcoTs7Iz89RyFTIKi2GySQVpSZmK5RkpCoUleakFivkVBZlJhcDAPgUGwI&oq=i+don%27t+wanna+go+to+school+i+just+&gs_lp=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&sclient=gws-wiz
Unfortunately alot of here just dump there horses. Thats how our barn ended up with a sorrel gelding. Owner went out to feed and he was just magically in her round pen
Top, they're good if you get one and it fits your horse, but if you custom order one they are notoriously bad at actually making saddles that work with those measurements, and have fucked people out of over thousands of dollars.
As for riding, they're fine, but I prefer more minimal saddles like childerics. I'm not a huge fan of the more modern blocky ones
I would not have paid a fee lol. Their contract did not state a fee either, just said they would take him back 100%. When they did not I was stranded finding a home for a psychotic horse pretty much.
