Trigger, I struggle with Anxiety, too. It's rough. A couple weeks ago, I had a complete breakdown at work, right in front of my bosses. They sent my home and told me to take the next day off, too, to get the self care time I needed. They were looking out for me but I still felt rejected. It's hard when people tell you one thing and they are telling the truth, but your own brain says, "They are lying! They told you to take an extra day off because they don't want you here. You're not good enough." So hard! I got through it, though.
I hardly ever use stirrups when I ride now. Usually just let them hang while I ride. If I loose stirrups during a class gotta learn to balance. It is a survival skill in some of those classes, you would be trampled by multiple horses if you fell.
I have done steep hills and been able to stay in English saddle. Did endurance for awhile. Gotta learn to hold your seat no matter what you ride in. My boss back then hardly ever used a saddle and she would go up and down steep hills too
Nah just the one. They take a break in shows during July since it gets 114+ out here, and most times barely cools down at night. I have officially taken over a show lease on Lexie though, so that shall be fun.
There is nothing wrong with riding English style, but when moving cows, or trail riding, if my horse was going up or downhill, I was glad to have something to hold onto to keep me in the saddle
I can ride and do well in both comfortably. I pride myself on that. My trainer personally will not purchase horses that can only do one or the other, they have to be able to do both.
lucky english racist😂 Big Tractor's my western boy, pretty much only neck reins, so if I ride him english I still have to hold his reins in one hand so he understands lol
I used a hornless Australian stock saddle and a bosal. Some people were really confused by that. They were like, "Why are you using a western bridle and an "English" saddle?"
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
