I think now is probably the best time to do it as well to be fair as I've switched up my gelding situation and have barely any that are staying. Already gone down from 500 ish to less than 200 which feels crazy
I'm the same- breeding stock have names and geldings are numbered. Although I'm thinking of giving my geldings names just to make them easier to identify when hand showing
I used to have a theme on this account. Originally, all of my horses were named after real life places in the Cascadia Bioregion. I would literally just open Google Maps and look for interesting place names. :)
Now I stick with the theme when I feel like and the rest are random.
My side accounts have rock and roll themes, but I don't always stick to them either.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.

Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
