Angel, exactly! And to be fair, I am equally brutal when editing my own writing and like when people point out flaws I couldn't see because I was too close to the project.
Yeah I always feel bad when I have to do peer reviews in classes because I am brutal lol. But its all meant to be helpful suggestions not bashing anyone's work
But fair warning, I have earned a reputation for being a vicious editor. I know beta is different and maybe that's a good thing. My red pen will stay in its cup.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
