There is a group of magpies that occasionally invades my yard though. XD I just will look out and see 15 magpies scavenging for food all throughout my yard.
@PK, it could just be the area you are in too. I mostly just get house finches and doves at my feeder, but if I lived 20 miles south I am sure it would be much different!
We have hundreds of thousands Invasive Grackles here though, they WILL & do drive away other birds. But my Blue Jays have been running them out of my trees lol
I saw an oriole which was nice! I swear I see one about once a year and only if I go out looking. Other than that some goldfinches and a meadowlark! I saw others, but those were my top finds.
