Well, if your dog is taught to listen well and taught the no-cross line, its fine. The dog we had when I was growing up... wasn't taught pretty well (but stubborn sometimes!) and knew the tall grass line was the limit. He only ran off like 3 times. Twice after a female dog roaming the neighborhood. lol Don't worry, he was snipped!

Depends on the area Diva. Here we are not allowed to chain dogs where they can get to people. They have made it so it is considered the dog is at large (off leash wandering) My dog gets chained in front yard when I am working in the garden. But I am there and make sure he cannot get to the sidewalk.
They were not good pet owners... My bf put so much work into training his dog, he walks him 1-2x every day and goes on a hike 1-2x a week. He spent the first 2 years training his dog non-stop

Your not allowed to tie your dog up ? Like by the doghouse? we do use trees at times, but chain is usually around 5m long and mostly the guard dogs get it during the daytime
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
