My ex boss's assistant has a cat that has diabetes and when she goes out of town I have to do her insulin shots for her and that cat is an absolute demon. She will scream and scratch and bite so I have found that oven mitts is the best option lol |

@angels lol Yes. And in a closed room she probably won't go into easlily. And she's a mass of muscle, I managed to pick her up but she wiggled and kicked free. She's 10 pounds of all mucsle! |

@angels Look slike I'll have to do the towel method, which I know she knows about. She spooks at towels, blankets, and long hair falling/flapping. |
Angels angels |
Gem then your best bet is to layer up some thick jackets and use oven mitts and just snatch her up XD |

@angels She's an exbarn cat. Her paper history shows she was caught several times. First for spaying and ear clipping, then twice for surgey, and then for going to the shelter. She's about 10. She'd rather starve then get caught. O.o And she has all the moves and I don't have much experience with cats with outside fighting experience. lol I have battle wounds but at least she only did enough and ran. |

He might not top any LBs but he'll give you a better breeding boost to start with than a PPE :) |

It is just like horses, it is all about desensitizing them and letting them associate it with good things |

Gem Have you tried using treats? If it is one that the top can open or come off I would recommend doing that and training the cat to get used to it with treats then progress to the top being on or closed. If it can't open then I would just leave the carrier open in a spot your cat is a lot and leave treats in it to let the cat get used to going in it on his own. You can even try feeding them their dinner in the carrier so they associate it with food |
