Wolf, some things are out of your control :P I know it's hard testing a boy when his training is not living up to people's expectations. But even if you test him with some mediocre mares yourself, he will sooner or later land at the spot he's supposed to land on.
I think that my standards are set to what my last WWW had, and I think that, maybe thats outdated, I keep comparing the horses to him, but maybe he's a horrible horse to compare to
Just making sure. I've been breeding AAs for a *long* time now and am trying to help confirm that their training is NOT everything... Aaand people just kind of keep skipping over it lol
Training is an indicator and it helps us match but just because a horse has a wk 3 doesn't mean it's the new #1 nor does it mean a horse down wk4 won't make the ablb
Tosk That's not what I'm trying to do though? If someone is happy about their first EWE/EWW/WWW I'll respond saying good job, even if it trains bad since I know how that feels to have the first, I think that I just have unrealistic standards that I deal with over here only on my end that doesn't extend to anyone else, at least I'm not trying to extend that standard toward anyone else if that makes sense?
I get that people might get disappointed if training doesn't go the way they expected but it doesn't necessarily mean that the pixels suck ^^ and like AL said, newer players might start thinking so.
