yeah, these gals were fresh outta college, and we ended up having to get one of the older vets out to see my horse. Less than 3 minutes and this 2 inch long splinter came out. Imagine that, not cancer.
vets are the same way, brought my horse in for a wooden splinter in his neck which I'd seen STICKING OUT, and they tried to suggest my horse might have cancer. Then they took radiographs, which wood doesn't even show up on, couldn't get the splinter out, and tried to charge 891$
I think medicare doctors are the worst. They figure oh what the hell, you're gonna die soon, so why bother with you. Little do they realize, only the 'good' die young. lol
Case in point - Had a mini stroke about 2 years ago. To see where the damage was, they injected me with some crap that was like an iodine derivative, eventhough in my records, it clearly stated I am highly allergic to iodine. It caused extremely painful swelling in my hands. Rather than admitting they fucked up, they tried to convince me I had gout. Needless to say, I don't trust doctors, as far as I could pick one up and throw them.

Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
