All my competitive horse & Fed horses I hand show. The ones I just don't bother with I assign to the BM. Since my barns are arranged by breed, I also catch her mistakes as I hand-enter. Working out very well for me
I only joined a month ago and already have over $100,000 in profit using my BM, $347k total winnings. I'd say if you have geldings, the BM is pretty good at her job. Mares I find are not as good with the BM, maybe it's just me though.
I used to only use the BM haha. She made me money but not nearly as much as I make now. Doubling my fees was rare with my BM and I regularly make more than double what I paid
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

You can hire a rider. They will be automatically assigned to your horse. Be sure to visit the Rider's Lounge and pay them.
Set Breeding Requirements for your horse. Enter the minimum rating allowable for breeding. When breeding, Any combo of the entered values and higher will be accepted. Leave blank to set to None.
Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
