| You could keep blankets in the car If you get stranded in the summer you put it over the most offending windows Or even if you just stuck sitting along time in a parking lot |

| I’ve never heard of that before. Can you take it to a mechanic to get it looked at? I would think it’s the transmission, like you said. Is it a mild Hybrid? |

| @gypsy Didn't think of that! How on earth do you check that? @dulcie Oh dear! A car we had when I was a kid had the converter blocked so bad it stall on a highway going uphill. Fried like an egg next to the highway until we got a ride from an officer. O.o |

| @snow Had a truck thats catalytic where going & a bit fell out of the catalytic & went down the exhaust pipe & blocked the muffler The truck stalled or backfired constantly because the poor engine was oxygen starved @PPF I'll whip something up & send it to you |

| @grimmi Nope. No warning anything! The last car my parents had the catyltic converenter made noticeable sounds before the light turned on! O.o |

| "Yikes" indeed. I lost the whole car. I didn't have 15k to spend on a brand new engine, and all the labour fees. |

| @rose I know, its my parents car and I'm hoping to get it when they get a new car. It first happened to me a few months ago, and mom didn't even notice in the passenger seat. And she's good at noticing car things. O.o But its done it a few more times and its more noticeable... |
