Back when I was working for the dog rescue, we came across a Border Collie hoarding incident... Dude had a "pack" of over 50 in his yard. Of all ages. He didn't feed them. Or anything. Some were so sweet, and others were so aggressive, or so wounded from attacks from other dogs, that we had to put them down. Licensing could've put this guy in jail. Instead he got a slap on the wrist for neglect. |

Also, my vicious 11-month-old kitten is fighting to eat a big, slow-moving, sugar ant. And the ant is winning. |

The only reason I would say no to people owning venomous reptiles is if they escape, and then other people's lives are on the line. But if you live alone or with a consenting adult and want to own a black mamba, and don't value your life, do it up |

Green Venomous reptiles should !!!definitely!!! be handled by experts. And not ones that like to show off for clout. |
Greenheart Stables |
Honestly sometimes I think the average reptile keeper shouldn't be able to own venomous reptiles. So many horror stories of handlers getting Comfortable and wind up being bit. Or are just actively being stupid with the animal for a video, *side eyes some of the youtube videos I come across* |

They're pet ducks and they don't hatch the eggs 🤷♀️ So really no license needed |

I also agree on the license. It absolutely should be required. Again, though, I personally see dogs as more than just their breed's purpose. I believe in genetics AND training/environment. In my eyes, any dog can do harm, and any dog can be well-behaved, so long as that environment is fostered and proper training is instilled from the beginning. Are there some cases where a pittie just won't comply and will be dangerous? Absolutely. Are there cases like that with any breed? Absolutely. |

I've gotta go now. See-yas! To each their own! Any animal and children need proper teaching to be nice with others. :D |

Yikes. Yeah, no, I've worked hard for the knowledge I've acquired on birds, knowing I'd need both it and a license. But birds aren't as big an issue as cats and dogs, and I think it's a major contributor |

Yup, we have to pay a pretty hefty sum to be able to breed our alpacas. Only thing we don't have a license for is our birds 😅 They just kinda do what they want |

I wanna say the only licensing that's needed is for native animals, protected species, and venomous critters |

Gem XD, that's so funny! I'm sure he was a happy dog |

Overweight animals may look cute and funny and seem like they enjoy life but it's cutting years off |

I want a corgi, except I know jack shit about them and want a dog that can run with me. Not sure that one would work. |

Depends on the state. Basically no licenses are required in mine for breeding animals |

Void All dogs definitely need training and it’s an owner’s responsibility to ensure that their dog is trained. Sadly, I have had and seen a number of service dog prospects ruined by owners who haven’t trained or socialized their dogs. |
