My husband has never had his own dog. I've had two in my life. I had plans/was talking to a breeder friend about a conformation prospect IG but I think I'm just going to get my husband his dream dog.

Had a bunch of shelter mutts Im traumatized after the shelter lied and gave us a pregnant dog and she ended up giving birth to 11 puppies xD

That's good but that's not the case for all AKC breeders. My AKC Yorkie has lost about half her teath. She is only 6.

Thats good! A lot of pet owners dont notice abscesses until the pet goes septic

Yeah I have delt with abscesses before on other animals/pets so I know what to look for. When I found it I made sure to do a thorough check on it and the rest of him. I also have been watching it to make sure it doesn't grow, or I will take him to the vet

My friend is a GSD breeder and every dog shes produced except one had no health issues until 8-9 years old :) she did every genetic and health test possible
