All parents want that for their children |

It makes me feel relieved to hear this from another adult. Watching her have a seizure was horrific, I just want to keep her safe and at the very least healthy and alive |

Mack - stick to your guns, you are doing the right thing for your child. |

Mack - grand dad doesn't seem to know much about epilepsy. Ignorance isn't bliss after all. Maybe he needs to read up on it. |

The worst part is second guessing if I am doing the right thing. But I'm not gonna listen to some old Joe off the street, I want to talk to professionals. Whew that feels better. I appreciate the outlet |

My daughter has epilepsy and my husband's father doesn't like that she takes an anticonvulsant and is prescribed an emergency med. The way he's thinking about it concerns me. And he always has to threaten my parenthood, like I'm doing something wrong. I'm just doing my best though, and I've talked to several specialists and am doing genetic testing right now. The meds are mostly for the meantime until we know more. Some people, he hasn't even come to her appointments or asked any questions, hubby just told him she was prescribed and he started going off. |

well. Search is totally borked. I sure as hell don't have 300 freshmen |

My daughter, when she was 16, was throwing a hissy-fit. It was so ridiculous looking, my hubby mimicked her, to show her what she looked like to others. She had to laugh at his antics and never did throw another. |

Thankfully I'm pretty sure I have the right to completely stop associating. It's just extra concerning when it's regarding one of your children |
