I think it depends on the job. For example, when I applied to be a teacher at an equine therapy center I tried to be as professional as possible with my resume and cover letter. |

Oh nice! We're all old school here, no large animal vets here even. But bless one of the small animal docs, hes always game to help out where and when needed |

I think it'd really depend on the vibe of the place, but I think it'd be safer to lean more on the professional side than to go casual. |

I mean it depends on the situation but I've never made a resume until I got involved in the publishing world |

Puck Wait really? I do have a cover letter/resume I can/will submit if I get a response I just want to email this place the best way possible |
Revel Ranch |
@Wolf, you might try ChatGPT to give you some ideas on how a cover letter will sound. Ask it to type one up for you to get an idea. |
Wolf Dancer |
Eury Ok! Thank you! I did change it and I think I'm going to send it now >.> |
FirstLightFarms |
I'm going to disagree there. If it's a casual barn environment, and wolf is just sending a random email, it doesn't need to be super professional. Every job in the equine industry I've gotten has been from me randomly emailing and/or calling and/or showing up and being like hi hello will shovel shit for money |

Yes I'm stoked for her! And to see that the stallion has produced so nicely too has me over the moon. Heres to successful breedings and foalings <3 |

Like, this is from my cover letter: Thank you for the opportunity to apply for the pharmacist role at your company. After reviewing your job description, itâs clear that youâre looking for a candidate who is extremely familiar with the responsibilities associated with this role, and can perform them confidently. |

I'm really freaking lucky to live in horse area so I'm just bringing the mares down to ocala and dropping them off at a reproductive vet and letting them do all the work. I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing |
Cappuccino |
Andddddd *potentially* if we get creative and figure out how to bring in semen....maybe breed her down the road. But that's a lot of moving parts with that. |
The Old Gods |
You're basically writing a cover letter and those tend to be very professional |
FirstLightFarms |
Ohh she's not yours. Whoops! Still, super exciting Ahh that's so fun. Looks like you, me, ari, and maybe trish are going to have babies at the same time lol it'll be an exciting year |
Cappuccino |
So shell get to do a bit of everything, dressage, baby jumps, hacking out |

I just spent the last 2 hours looking at CT images for this stupid class that wants us to read and diagnosis them without any prior training. |
Angels angels |
-HEE Click- I get to see if she is going to be an addition to my breeding stock or if she is getting yeeted tomorrow |
Cappuccino |
Bruh same!!! it was something that was an "eventual" plan for me XD but two things changed my mind so its happening next month. She should be in heat next the first week in April Paris is the barn owners' baby so most likely she'll either be one of their personal horse, shell be here unless someone on another island want to buy her once she's under saddle. But that'll be a ways off |
Wolf Dancer |
Eury Ok! I just don't want to come across as cocky or anything though >.> |
