I can try. Worth a shot at this point. Docs worried about bone infection on the inner thigh wound the most. It's the one he gets the most dirty but I've been PACKING it with cream to help keep debris out and I've been taping a gauze patch over it to help as well.
Case; don't laugh, but this worked on my friend's dog- they glued a Velcro patch to the skin and used it as a base to secure the bandage. Don't know if it work in this case, but the dog had a deep chest abscess and needed coverage and like your baby, none of the bandage would stay in place.
but I've seen things for dogs that need diapers or things like that. you don't want it tight or choking him of course, but the rump is too smooth to hold things up. anchoring it around the neck might at least keep the bandage from sliding so much
If he wasn't so fluffy it would probably stay 🤣 that silky baby fuzz is my biggest problem. But I feel guilty shaving half his body to hold a bandage and that might cause chaffing on his back
He's very petite, very small and very energetic so all the movement just keeps making it fall within an hour no matter what I do. I could tri sewing a velcro buckle into his tiny blanket and running the range over the belly that way but it might choke him up front?
have you tried something around his neck attached to a strap connected to the top of the pants? you'd probably need something on the other leg to balance it. kind of like suspenders lol
