I get that workers want more money. The company's do too. So, the company's have to charge more money for their goods to pay the employees. Then the consumer of those goods, bitches that the prices are too high. It's a vicious circle.
Higher wages will also equal higher costs when we go to stores, or restaurants, or wherever. Simple economics.
The current problem is that inflation is soaring faster than wages, and that can be blamed on wasteful government spending, and also on losing our energy independence, creating higher fuel prices = higher prices on everything, as most consumer end products must be shipped, or require parts/ingredients to be shipped, somoften multiple shipping costs involved before consumers ever see the product.
Living in a state with $10 minimum wage, the only way for me to stay afloat if I lived alone would be to make at least $20. I'm struggling to find something full time above 14 that isn't so far away I'm wasting too much money on gas. It's just frustrating and shitty.
Honestly Eury. I'd put up with abusive customers and catty coworkers if I made more than $10 an hour. I can't live off $200 a week, that barely covers groceries for two.

@Grape Oooh yeah, and sometimes not even a friend, its family, alot of restaurant managers only hire their family members from what I've seen from working in three restaurants and two extremely short term jobs in fast food, its especially bad in fast food lol
