I'd for sure do it when he's at work but what if he come to my parents house he's threatened to do it before and he's is ready to argue and fight about anything even me telling him about to conversation I had with my mom & sister about my health issues that I'm trying to get sorted. I used to live with a guy who would throw me down the stairs and lock me in the spare bedroom for a week after he gave me a black eye so nobody would see the bruises. I know it is hard to leave, but please do it for your sake. Even if you have to wait until he is at work and do a rush job. That is how I escaped, and I only found the courage to do so because my neighbor heard what happened and helped me make a plan.
Eagle, speaking from personal experience, the first and biggest step is making a commitment to yourself that you will leave. Once you accept that decision and start thinking in that mindset, the next steps will become more apparent <3 <3 best of luck, it's of course easier said then done, but you can do it!
Eagle I'm so, so sorry. Yeah, I'd say visit that Hotline link that Pixie put in and get better tips on how to leave/what to do. Be sure to tell them that you fear even your family would side with him.
Eagle It's not that you can't do it it's that you won't do it. And you might not even know why. It's completely up to you to make the decision to leave. And your family believes him than that might just tell you alot about them too. I've been in a similiar situation twice

Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
