Yeah people were spending a poop ton of RL money on barns/pastures for FR farming to get ahead quicker

....Actually, that sounds like a hilarious project.

"Good" is subjective. If someone wants to chunk 2 color horses together with the sven they got? More power to 'em.

I think 500 a month would be good as a trial run first.

Fawn, Raise the cap like so many people in the community want lol. It doesnt have to be removed but raising it would solve the issue and still keep the game realistic.

The games economy is crashing in so many aspects of it that it's not enjoyable like it used to be. It hurt so many players when it was introduced and is still hurting people every month that it's like this.

But Eve wont so. Honestly, not sure it's worth asking anymore

10:49:32 Fawn
That would I feel make it worse. Svens suddenly being given away wouldn't solve anything if the stable doesn't have good mares or ebs to breed to top studs
Versailles

I think a good idea would be to raise the cap substantially. Genuinely. That way people can't make billions, but they can use it as it was intended (giving horses a base value).
The Old Gods
10:48:33 Void Malign
<_> yeah. All of my stables I built up without spending rl money on barns or whatever. I've only recently starting buying upgrades for myself rather than spending ebs, but that's more because I got tired of the prices of upgrades constantly climbing.

I agree, it's like RL. If you want to build up a big successful company, it'll take a ton of time and money. That doesn't mean you should complain that big corporations have reached your goal already.

@Versa, that's my point exactly! I was a little stable and spent over a year building my stable up which included a FR fodder program.

Here, like. I don't usually post. And please don't take this as disrespect or arguing. But I do feel like, if big build up to a certain point, the little stables can too. They spent time, energy, getting to a spot- it's not an instantaneous game... I understand they want to do the ABLB thing too, but nothing was restricting them from building up... Why complain and have methods removed?
Painted Perfection
10:45:58 Luna The Gene Queen
Fawn, but as someone who breeds colour horses and cant even make money off selling or breeding them, FR was the only way I made anything. AMD I wasnt making millions off it either. And it still hurts me detrimentally to the point I have thought about leaving many times since

I have definitely had to adjust since leaving my old account and creating this one, but I find ways to make it work.
All Breeds

No you're good. People were making millions on it though so people were complaining about it because they didn't have the ebs to afford buying 5-10 svens or breed to ABLB horses

I still dont see why the free range cap matters. Just like I didnt understand how it mattered when the showing cap was added ages ago either. Why do we need to control every aspect of the game? It makes it not enjoyable or playable for people.

There are so many games with people who have unrealistic amounts of in game currency and those games are economically just fine....it actually harms the games when people start taking things away and control the economy...but I dont see why we need to keep discussing it. Eve said she wont change it.. no point in beating a dead horse over it. It wont change anything

That's gorgeous! Maybe you could make the background a bit darker so the horse could pop a bit more!

Looks great! The horse blends into the sky a lot though, so I agree with darkening the background a little. Also, adding little lighter/darker lines in spots where the horse is blending to the background makes it more separated while keeping a natural look. I'd do some of that in your image.

Here's my latest. Looking to auction it off, idk. Any price pointers or areas for improvement? I know it's not great LOL

I really like this also, very cute :3

All looks well on this. Lovely lighting, hair looks fine, highlighting is good (you could possibly add a bit throughout the torso and flank. optional).
The only thing I notice about this one is that it is a bit blurry around the horse. It looks like a program fault, not yours. What program do you use?

Edit: I would price around 25-45k if you can fix the blur lines (not the blurred background) around the horse. Maybe 15k if you can't fix?

Oh! I use PS too ;)
Yeah... I have no clue about the weird blurry line thing... PS shouldn't do that. Maybe play around with your blur/fx settings and see what he issue is? I dunno haah!

Aww, Ari. You da bestest <3

Ok so first off- this is drop dead gorgeous *-*
It is honestly my absolute favorite piece you have ever done!
But if I had to nit-pick, I would add that the background and horse blend in together a bit. I agree with Grey and Anime where you should maybe darken the background a bit. Possibly add a VERY pastel blue or yellow (those are my go-to colors as you can tell lol) to the background instead of that warm white you have. Hope this helps! <3

I would love to have added more but I have got to get some sleep haha!

Could you try this one please

Hey Sunset, your work has improved a lot with this image. YouÂ’re really growing as an artist :)
I am going to mention as Roz said that the horse does look grainy. If you could smudge it possibly I think it will make it a lot smoother over all.
The next step IÂ’d suggest to take with this is make the lighting a lot more dramatic. With evening scenes you can make the lighting a lot more dramatic. IÂ’d give a halo around the horse particularly the head area to highlight it and then push the rump and rest of the body in shadows. As Roz also said a hard rim light around the outside of the horse would really make it pop and differentiate from the background. With my pieces I only highlight areas of the horse I want viewers to see and focus on. Something to keep in mind. Also apply the lighting to the mane to make it unify with the overall picture.
Also some pink on the nose as Roz has already said again. Overall a really nice piece you should be proud :D

The blur line is because you left the horse on the original background from the stock image. You need to put your horses on new backgrounds.

And for the future, do remember that most stock providers dont allow their images to be used in just hue changes. You will need to make noticeable modifications, such as changing the background, to comply with stock rules.
