I currently have my first barn of full of show geldings I'm torn between my next options, I can buy another barn or stable? Do I go barn and fill it with more show geldings? Invest in a good profitable stud and some good mares? Or buy a pasture and produce hay? Which is the most profitable? Thanks for reading! 😁

Showing would probably be more profitable, I don't really hear alot of people making tons of money off hay, but if you did hay it could feed all your horses. But if you have a barn with showers then it will earn you money <3

I would keep buying more Stables had show geldings and keep showing! I'm doing this on a side account until I feel that I can keep making the funds to be able to up hold an AD breeding program!

If you are patient enough, you should go with another barn of show horses. But you can get a couple nice mares as show horses, too, and start to breed your own new show stock for the beginnings. Additionally you can show mares as well as geldings - some of my best earning horses are mares ;) I would refrain to get an own stud at this point - there are tons up for 0 ebs you can use.

I agree with the above! Get another barn with geldings. I have three mare barns that I use to breed my geldings, I I always use outside stallions because they're free! Stallions are basically useless to your stable unless they're high up on the board
