Ive started using gimp and i need to add white markings to a grullo but i dont know how to do that on gimp with out making it look really weird. Does anyone know of a video i can watch or tip i can follow? Thanks

I used the free select/lasso tool to select the area I wanted to turn white, desaturate the area and use brightness/contrast to turn it a white color. Then I use a small (2-3 usually) soft brush but pretty high opacity (you can experiment and find what you like) and just smudge the edges to make it look a bit more like hair. (a really light smudge though)
