Hi all,
I'm in the market for a program that's a little better than Photoshop Elements (I believe 15 is the version I currently have). There are just so many that I want to narrow down the list of programs I need to research.
A little about me:
I love photo manipulation and I want to develop my basic skills further. I also love doing book cover art for fun. I'm also into landscape and wildlife photography so a strong editing program is a plus.
Also if you know of any tutorials that will help me develop my craft I would greatly appreciate a link.
Thanks for your help!

Definitely Photoshop CC if you're up for paying $10 a month.
If not, GIMP is a free alternative.

I also highly suggest Photoshop CC.
Elements is just for quick photo touchups.
Photoshop CC has all the bells and whistles.

Thanks guys! I was looking into it. Would you recommend the newest version or an older version? I know sometimes the newer versions of things aren't always better.

I highly recommend Affinity Photo. It is very comparable to Photoshop and there are tons of tutorials online. Many photoshop tutorials translate over easily to Affinity. It is a one time payment of $50 I believe. I know it is available on Macs and iPads.
