work on shaperpening horses and blurring somr of your backround, it gives your horse definition
use the curves tool to blend the horse into the backround
shadows!

Thanks! I used the curves tool, but it's probably too light.

play around with different effects from the 'colours section'
also make sure to add shadows where it be a duplicate of the horse layer or just a black blob
