I have been trying for 3 days now to get this image compressed enough for HEE. I have not been successful...I am familiar with Gimp but still learning. This is one of my first serious manipulations. I have tried to compress it in Gimp, out of Gimp and change the size all together. I need help. Any assistance and/or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I think I fixed it... I tried jpg and that seemed to help. Edited at November 4, 2018 07:47 PM by Fidler Farms

This one will work.
And if you save the image as a JPEG it will help. I don't know how gimp is but I know with Adobe you can set the image quality and it will tell you how big the file will be. I usually aim to get around 180k when I save it.

Then I use this website to compress the file down to meet the HEE requirements.

Thank you Jericho! I didn't realize that the file was saving PNG (what I get for doing art late at night)...I saved it JPG and it worked! I will definitely save that website though! Thank you! I have always loved your work... it is INCREDIBLY STUNNING!
