I basically said everything I wanted to say in the title, here's my first ever attempt of art (I was having a mental breakdown before lol) it took me an hour and a half to do. What do ya think? https://photos.app.goo.gl/VJFqTUpdq6KacnTB6

This is a very good first attempt! First of all, the credits need fixed. You can not only site DeviantArt - you have to list the users that posted the stock photos on DeviantArt.
Second, your horse needs a shadow. Your horse also seems very small compared to the snowy twigs in the background. I am not sure if this was intentional but it's something that you should pay attention to when choosing background stock. Also, some parts of your horse are transparent (top of rump, top of withers, bottom of the barrel, and many spots on the legs). When you are cutting out your horse, try to keep the lines natural and not blurry. When smudging, don't go over the edges of your horse. Work with a very small tool and go in circles. If you go over the edges of the horse, that will create the opaque sections and blurriness. <span style="text-align: center;">Your mane and tail are also over smudged.
When you are working on an art piece, try to imagine it as a photo of a real horse. For example, on a real horse you would be able to view small details such as stands in the mane and shadows and highlights in the coat. These small details can easily make or break an art piece.
Overall, this is a very good first try at art. The first thing I would work on is re-reading the HEE crediting rules to make sure your art is compliant. Second, I would work very slowly and really pay careful attention to your cutting, smudging, and mane work.
