Hello! I wasn't sure where to post this, so I hope you guys don't mind if this is a little bit out of the norm for this forum. I looked through the rules and tried to see if anything like this was against the rules, but I couldn't find anything specific that prohibits this. If I'm in the wrong, please let me know! It's not my intention to purposely break the rules.
I am looking for an art partner who has photoshop that can resize my artwork. I currently don't have access to this service as the tablet I use doesn't support it and will not in any foreseeable future. I definitely can't afford to buy a tablet that does support it anytime soon, but I don't want to stop making art just because I can't puzzle out a way on my own to resize art without losing a massive amount of picture quality. Right now I'm heavily dependent on a friend of mine to resize my images, but it's getting to a point where they can't keep up and I feel bad for asking them again and again to the point where it's become more than just a small favor. I haven't buffed it all out yet, but I was thinking that I could pay a fee for each resizing whether that be a flat rate for each piece or a certain percentage of the profit depending on how much I'm getting for the commission. I'm not sure what would be best, but if anyone is willing to give this partnership a shot, we can hash it all out and make sure everything is fair before we agree to anything. Note that this fee will be paid with in-game money only!
Any help is greatly appreciated whether it's an offer to help out or just a piece of advice on what I could do! Thank you guys so much in advance. Edited at April 6, 2020 08:12 AM by ActiasLuna

If your talking about resizing the image to the correct 500x500 etc than there are sights online you can use. Just search it up. If your talking about compressing the image, there are also sights you can use! :3 just to make it easier

Unfortunately, all of the free online options as well as some paid options for resizing the image to the correct canvas size cause horrid loss of quality. Photoshop is the only application that I know of that has perfect resize. Unless there's another underground application sneaking around somewhere that's just as good? I do know about good online compressors though. I use it to reduce the file size of images. Edited at April 5, 2020 11:30 PM by ActiasLuna

Does your program allow the use of custom canvas sizes? That would be an easy fix to your problem. Unfortunatly I don't have photoshop, only Medibang on my laptop. I've never had an issue with losing quality over resizing, I might be able to help?

It does, but working with 500 x 500 and 300x300 canvases doesn't leave a lot of room to work. I've found that at least 1000 x 1000 is best for my uses which means I'm kind of forced to resize at the end. Thank you so much for the recommendation! I will look a Medibang now and see if it works for me c: Edit: It works like a charm! You're a lifesaver! <3 Edited at April 6, 2020 08:11 AM by ActiasLuna
