Hello! If you don't already know me, I am (obviously) Freedom! - Some of y'all may know I attempt to make art. I usually just do auctions since I love being able to do whatever I want. But I cope with art orders XD - So my prices for a normal horse avatar is about 12k. But those are just kinda quick little things, mainly because I don't have enough motivation to do them when I know it's not really for much. So will raising my prices be worth it? I am not sure. I hate being under a ton of pressure, but it's something I need to get used to. - So here is a couple of questions I am asking myself and now you. •Should I even be doing art? Should I just stop? •Are my prices too low/high? •Am I too bad at art to move to Tier 2? •Is a block of cheese a loaf of milk? - - So if you have any thoughts or critiques, or even your thoughts on milk loads, don't be afraid to tell me. I don't bite. Usually. Poll Question: What is your thoughts?Total Votes: 9
You should stop making art. : | 1 | 11% | | Your prices are fine how they are. : | 2 | 22% | | You could probably raise your prices 5k-10k : | 4 | 44% | | You could possibly raise your prices +20k. : | 2 | 22% | | You belong in Tier 2. : | 0 | 0% | | A block of cheese is a loaf of milk. : | 0 | 0% | | You have cast your vote.

Definitely don't quit. I think you should keep your prices, but maybe add a Complexity charge or Add On charge. Oncw you get more confident and comfortable with your ability to shade, recolor etc then raise your prices, if you are comfortable now, than raise your prices. Also don't put a ton of pressure on yourself, this is supposed to be fun. Edited at May 19, 2020 08:55 PM by HMHRealityCheck

•Should I even be doing art? Should I just stop? If you are not doing art for the sheer enjoyment of doing art you should stop. Art should be fun and relaxing. •Are my prices too low/high? I think you can bump your price 5-10k •Am I too bad at art to move to Tier 2? Short answer: yes. Long answer: Tier 2 is for art priced between 50k-100k. It is very unwise to jump from 12k to 50k+ without furthering your experience/skill and customer base. You can always just keep doing auctions instead to get the most for your arts. •Is a block of cheese a loaf of milk? While cheese is a derivative of milk, it is made by acidifying it (generally using bacteria, vinegar, and lemon)and potentially adding additional ingredients & mold. So no. Just like tofu isn't a soybean.

Thanks Jello. I get the Tier 2 thing. During my free time while I have a closed shop, I am looking at a lot of tutorials varying from shading to eyes to even just the hooves. Messing around on the art program I am currently using to get a really good feel for it and just generally get to do different things and see what works and what doesn't.
