I could use some advice on pricing. I am currently tier 3 and charging 40k for a horse avatar and 25k for a stable set. I felt that these prices are reasonable for the quality of my work and the time it takes to make. However, I haven't gotten many orders and my auctions have been bringing half of my shop price or getting no bids at all. Am I overpricing my art? If your art does not sell for the amount you priced them, I would consider to lower the prices. After you´d gained more interest and orders, you can get more practise and then rise them according to the interest.

I don't think you're overpricing them, but many people "buy the artist, not the art". So you may need to lower your prices until you get more known to people, and when interest spikes up, your prices can follow^^

I don't think your art is overpriced. Problem is, market is terrible. Only top and super popular artists don't see their price drop. The rest simply hope to get something sold for a decent price simply cause there are too many artists. I would say is pretty much your choice. As a fellow artist, I know simply dropping your prices is not so much of an option when you are investing so much time on it. I was also suffering from the same and I simply decided to stop selling any art because the rate of time x ebs is ridiculously low.

Thanks everyone. I thought it might be due to an oversaturated market. I think I'll stop taking shop commissions for the time being and stick to just making pieces for contests and the occasional auction.
