I am currently tier 2. I would like to know a) if I'm low, middle, or high tier 2 and b) if I should move up to tier 1 examples:

Maybe high T2. The first one is just off, but most of it depends on buisness. If it's slowing down, lower. If it's speeding up, then HighT2 should work. EDIT: Can you change up BGs? For example, making a mid- day beach, a sunset beach? Edited at June 13, 2021 11:55 AM by Ocean View QH

I'd probably say mid Tier 2. I see quite a few inconsistencies in the work, such as grounding, hair, change of the pattern, and largely lighting. Before even thinking about T1, you should have a very good feel of being able to change base coats, patterns, tack removal, and a good handle on perspective and fantasy pieces. These are very nice though! Keep up the good work! ^^

Ask around in the Official Art Critique! Super good people in there who'd love to help! ^^ My advice is watch videos! Lots and lots of videos! And do lots and lots of practice! :D

If you can, get an art tablet, a tablet with a stylus, or a touch screen computer with a stylus. I think your art has definitely improved, hip hip hooray! I would work on grounding, lighting, and hair. The eye of the second horse looks really good. For hair, I absolutely adore this tutorial: For lighting, I suggest working on body prep first. Once you are done with that, take a color from the backround, make a new layer, set it to soft light and clipping layer. Then color over the horse in the color you selected. Lower the opacity of the layer to make it fit well Edited at June 14, 2021 10:12 AM by A grape
